Verify with the Eligibilty-Check if you meet the criterias for a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship.
The application for a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship as well as the appliances Switch edu-ID, eIAM and GO ESKAS are free of charge.
Services of GO ESKAS are interrupted on Thurdays, between 12:00 H and 14:00 H (local time Switerzland) for the duration of a few minutes due to maintenance work. Users have to login again after the interruption.

Access on the application plattform GO ESAS is only granted with an authenticated electronic identity. Create an authenticated electronic identity using Switch edu-ID Registration. Consult the User Guide if needed.
The Switch edu-ID is widely-used at universitities in Switzerland. Use a private permanent email address to register.

Your application for a Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship is to be prepared in GO ESKAS - initiate application
Use the same email address in the application as in the Switch edu-ID. You receive your user name and a hyperlink for continuing the application process after completing the basic data entry.
The first time you open the hyperlink sent via email, your Switch edu-ID will be linked to the Federal Administration's central access and permissions system (eIAM). Select Switch edu-ID in the eIAM- Login selection and follow the instructions. Once your Switch edu-ID ist linked to eIAM you have access the workflow-based application process in GO ESKAS.
